Zia Hassan, PCC, MCS
Zia Hassan is an ICF mentor coach, educator, and business owner whose career has taken him from roles at Microsoft and IBM to training coaches as an instructor at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC). He conducts coaching performance evaluations for the International Coaching Federation. He is the founder of two career and business coaching brands: Pivot Pilots, which he has led for five years, and Get Paid and Booked, launched one year ago. Based in Maryland, Zia helps coaches strengthen their skills, prepare for credentialing, and build sustainable coaching businesses.
Jess Yocum, PCC, MCS
Jess Yocum is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) who holds an active Mentor Coach Specialization (MCS) credential for ACC and PCC-level coaches. She is Associate Faculty at Fielding Graduate University’s Evidence-Based Coaching program and an Affiliate Coach with Loyola University Maryland, bringing over a decade of leadership development and organizational change experience to her mentor coaching work. She is based in Ellicott City, MD, with her husband and three children (11, 8, 4).
Planning to complete mentor coaching hours in 2027?
Beginning January 1, 2027, ICF credential candidates must complete any new mentor coaching hours with a coach who holds the Mentor Coach Specialization (MCS). Jess and Zia both hold the MCS qualification required to provide this mentor coaching.
